Flame Retardant Cable Technology Promotion Activity held in Quancheng

The "Symposium on Technology and Application of Flame Retardant Cable and Intelligent Resource Management System" was successfully held in Jinan, Quancheng. Nearly 90 local design institutes, engineering companies and industry users participated in the symposium. Through speeches and on-site exchanges, technical experts and local professionals shared the experience of flame-retardant cables **** and exchanged views on the application and technology of CMP high flame-retardant cables.
At the meeting, Ye Junhao, product manager of Shanghai Branch of DuPont China Group Co., Ltd., gave a keynote report on "The influence of the selection of cable materials on the fire safety performance of local area network cables". Wang Wangchu, product manager of Wantai Science and Technology Shanghai Zhengxuan Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd., also discussed the topic of "the application and technology of integrated wiring and flame retardant cables" with the participants on the spot, and introduced it in detail. The product characteristics and technical specifications of CMP flame retardant cable, which is the medium grade of fire protection standard at present, are introduced.
At the same time, Huang Qunji, deputy researcher of Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and general manager of Beijing Kejitong Electronic Engineering Co., Ltd., emphasized the importance of fire protection performance of data cables in computer room and fire protection requirements of cables in computer room. Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the information system is its first priority. Weak wires and cables used in the construction of the computer room can not cause fire. However, once the weak wires and cables are involved in the fire due to the flammability of insulating sheath materials, the fire spread quickly and fiercely. At the same time, a large number of smoke and toxic gases will be released, which seriously threatens the safety of personnel and equipment. Therefore, CMP or OFCP or OFNP fire-proof cables should be used in the open laying of Class A engine room and concealed ventilation.
It is understood that CMP cable products not only have flame retardant, low smoke, low corrosion and high transmission performance, but also meet the requirements of **** standard ANSI/TIA568-C.2. As a national technical tour, Wantai Science and Technology has held two flame retardant cable technology and application promotion activities in Hefei and Harbin in April and May this year.
